MY SATURDAY

yesterday afternoon, i met up with a co-"multiple band mailing lister"
(hehehe) from canada (but he's pure pinoy) to trade burned cds.
in exchange for my 3 cds full of local band demos/eps he gave me
10 burned cds of cool albums of foreign bands i'm interested in
(true love always-spring collection, death cab for cutie-stability
ep/rilo kiley-take offs & landings, versus-dead leaves,
belle and sebastian-if you're feeling sinister, elbow-asleep
in the back, spoon-girls can tell, +/-, sloan-pretty
together, pedro the lion-control, and you will know us
by the trail of the dead-source tags & codes) WOOHOO!---i'm
one happy music fan! anyway, we chatted a little and i quickly went
home excited to listen to all the albums.

so the rest of my saturday was spent: listening to all 10 albums
(which by the way are all good!!!!! i felt like a child in a candy
store not knowing what to listen to next...hehehe), watching "the
osbournes" on mtv, eating dinner, watching tv again this
time tuning to "the gilmore girls" on studio 23, after
which, listening to "not radio" on NU (which was live *sa
wakas* i miss this show!!! haven't listened to it for the past
months) while talking to emma on the phone. i capped the
night listening to death cab for cutie's "stability ep" using
my sister's discman (i dont have my own :o )...which she took away
from me after a while. but i didn't mind coz i was sleepy anyway.
