on the cd player: rise and shine mix/songs for a rainy day mix-cd by shine

hey! i attended last saturday's NU I.D.sessions (saw shine! hehehe thanks for the mix-cd and hope yer feeling well from everything already ;) get well soon!). it was wild! the crowd was as big and rowdy as say UP fair or Pulp concerts but it looked more rowdier and chaotic because the place was too small. it was really a bad idea. i pity the sta.lucia owner, she looked traumatized and didn't realized things would turn out the way they did! she was bitching the whole night! shouting at jologs hanging at poles they can get their hands into specifically the par64 lights. several times she would cut into a band's performance and would threaten cutting the concert short if the jologs won't behave---imagine saying that jologs can jump around but should not push or shove each other. huh? *asa pa siya* hehehe!!!

she should have known better. tsk tsk tsk

i had fun watching the moshers from up stairs, you get to see everything. it was a different view for once. i'm usually in the crowd during concerts because it's much more fun in there, i get to jump around and shout and scream and i get to kick some jologs ass literally while they're crazy jumping around or elbowing or kicking somebody else hahaha!!! but that night i was thankful i wasn't in the crowd. the place was so small and packed and there is not much air. so, no thanks, i was contented from where i was that night.

by the way before going to sta.lucia, marilyn, grace and i met-up with a co-lister from LA at robinson's galleria to finally meet him and get the burned cds schizo gave me (through him...air tim eh? hehehe..thanks levan!!!) we were quite lucky coz rivermaya had a mini concert that day as well! haven't seen 'em live for months now. Rico blanco was sporting a rapmetalvocalist-look hehehehe with his blonde top hair pony-tailed with matching goatee. i've also noticed that he "kupaw"-shouts in most songs. don't really know if it's because he just produced slapshock's newest album or he really wants to be in a kupaw band. anyway it was a treat they played 214, haven't heard that song played live for ages! it made me miss bamboo. ehehehe. saw some co-ground (rivermaya's mailing list) listers i knew. i'm not an active member of that list anymore though.

again i wasn't able to catch monsterbot and twisted halo play (but vin told the list they didn't play anyway) i got home at 2:30 am. got reprimanded by my mother but i was too tired to reason out hehehe so i said nothing and went straight to my room. my legs were sore---sitting on floors the whole day took it's toll.

didn't do anything yesterday but to greet my dear father a Happy Father's Day!, eat, sleep, sit, watch sunday afternoon gossip tv shows and listen to Boldstar's guesting in NU, wahoo!!!

i have no cell phone credits since saturday :( argh! but i'm having my test today for a job, wish me luck! i don't know how well i'll fare, haven't taken any kind of serious test since last year...hehehe..my brain should be rusting by now.
